Since November, the Indoor Specialist team has been doing extensive comparative testing of the Saris H3 Smart Trainer. Across our 11 riders, the team has compared the H3 against a slew of reputable power meters including SRM, Quarq, Powertap P1 pedals, Favero Assioma, & Garmin Vector.
Hundreds of comparison files have been meticulously analyzed — ensuring consistent calibration of power meters and spindown procedure of the H3 for every single one — and the firmware of the H3 has been carefully tuned by the Saris engineering team.
