Jenn Real took up sport late in life after moving to the Big Island of Hawaii. She got bit by the triathlon bug while volunteering in the medical tent at a half Ironman. She got her first road bike at the age of 37 and set herself a goal of competing in a triathlon by the time she turned 40. Ever the over-achiever, she actually completed 6 or 7 triathlons before the big 4-0, including the Xterra World Championships. Her true love was always the bike though, and once she found Zwift racing, and realized she could get her competitive fix without suffering through a swim first, the triathlons became a bit less frequent.
Jenn has been Zwift racing since late 2017, before there were women’s only races! In 2018, she qualified for the live CVR events in LA and Vancouver, coming in 5th overall each time, and the Zwift eCrit US Finals, taking 4th. In 2019, she was the US Zwift Nationals silver medalist, racing with the flu! With the development of Zwift Pro-Am racing, she saw the growth in the women’s racing community, the potential of eSports, and worked towards starting her own eSports team.
With the support of Team Fearless and Saris, Team Infinite was born. Jenn has a keen eye for potential Zwift racing talent, and within months Team Infinite was the second ranked women’s team on Zwiftpower. With the merger toSaris + The Pro’s Closet, she is incredibly excited to take the team to the next level, and to be a part of the shaping of women’s eSports.
